Davis scores personal best at FHHS golf match
Medalist for the March 24, 2015 Cedar Park Christian/Friday Harbor High School Golf match went to Aaron Smith from CPC with a 47. The match was played at the San Juan Golf Club. Wolverine Jordan Davis scored a personal best with a 49.
The team is keeping two scores from here on out to the end of the season. Though I preach how important putting is to the final score, until we get it down on paper, it’s hard to see the real importance. It will be easy to see how we can pick up a few quick shorts with a little extra work on then putting green.
Joyelyn Roberts, Tyla McKay and Nam Ketcharung competed against the CPC Ladies. Hannah Mackey from Cedar Park finished with a 57.
It was good experience for Jocelyn to play with Hannah. Hannah finished 12 in the State tournament last year as a junior.
