Friday Harbor’s McKenna Clark selected WIAA Athlete of the Week

The junior point guard led the Wolverines to a 49-47 season-extending overtime victory over Coupeville Feb. 10. Clark recorded career-highs of 17 points and 10 steals and also contributed seven rebounds and four assists.

The home victory in the regular-season finale qualified Friday Harbor for a play-in game less than 24 hours later against Coupeville at La Conner High School. Clark again led the Wolverines in scoring with 10 points — 38 percent of their team total — and chipped in five rebounds and five steals in the 26-25 loss.
